What types of roofs qualify for Astec Re-Ply ?
1 – Metal Roofs
These are composed of lapped sheets and fasternes that are highly susceptible to corrosion, wind lift, and lossening fron thermal shock damage leading to constant repair and eventually costly replacement.
Metal Roof are prime candidates for an ASTEC Re-P_ly conversion. When complete, the new seamless roof will be wind and watertight with thermal shock resistance, and sustainable, non-corrosive properties.
Metal roofs are restored, cleaned and professionaly converted to Astec Te-Ply roofs, using premium products and proven procedures .
2 – Single Ply Roofs
Single-Ply roofs are sheets attached to a subsurface and are susceptible to heat and UV degradation, chalking, shrinking, and separating leanding to expensive repair and costly replacement.
Single-Ply roofs are with sound unjderlayment and good adhesion can be readily converted to an ASTEC Re-PLy roof. When complete, the new seamless surface will be wind and watertight while reflecting damaging sunrays for a cooler building and longer-lasting roof.
Single-ply roofs are restored, cleaned and converted to ASTEC Re-PLy Roofs, using preimum products and proved procedures.
3 – Asphalt Roofs
Asphalt roofing, modified bitumen, or rolled roofing are susceptible to heatr and UV degradation, splitting, and cracking leading to constant repairand costly replacement.
Ashpalt roofs with soung underlayment, and repairable substrate3s can be converted to ASTEC Re-Ply roofs. When completem, the new seamless surface will be wind and watertight while reflecting damaging sun rays for a coller building and longer-lasting roofs.
Asphalt roofs are restored, cleaned and profesionally converted to ASTEC Re-Ply roofs, using premium products and proven procedures.
1 – Prepare Surface:
Pressure wash the old roof surface to eliminate loose material, repair substrate, blisters, and cracks as needed.
2 – Seal Seams:
Reinforce all roof, vent, duct, and flashing seams and laps with high tensile strength polyester cloth and tape. Saturate with with the appropriate ASTEC Base Sealer
3 – Prime and Seal Surface:
Flow on one or two layers of the appropriate ASTEC Base Sealer. This bonding sealer applies as a fluid, filling all cracks, and curing as a seamless, pliable membrane over the entire roof.
4 – Apply Core Layer:
Flow on the first layer of the appropriate ASTEC Re-Ply Finish. It will bond with the ASTEC Base Sealer and provide a monolithic core base for the final roof surface.
5 – Apply Surface Layer:
Flow on the final ASTEC Re-Ply Finish layer. The new roof surface will be a seamless, titanium white ply of a highly reflective roofing that is waterproof, pliable, and virtually impervious to airborne corrosives over years of hostile environmental conditions.
